Children, Youth & Young Adult Focused Therapy

At Devonish Counseling and Wellness center, we create a warm and inclusive space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences. We offer a non-judgmental safe space for emotional exploration, personal growth, and healing. Our supportive environment is designed to support children, youth & teens through mental health challenges e.g., depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral issues, adjustment challenges, peer-related issues, self-esteem, and other life impacting challenges.   • CBT & DBT

    CBT helps individuals to identify & challenge distorted or unhelpful thinking. Meanwhile DBT addresses emotion-regulation issues, distress tolerance & interpersonal challenges.

    Narrative therapy helps individuals to re-author their personal story & helps with gaining a greater sense of self. While art and play therapy uses various forms e.g., creative expression tools as a cataylst for personal growth, healing & self-discovery.

Welcome to Devonish Counseling and Wellness Center,

Currently licensed in the state of MA and Maine. I am dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellness of individuals in the community as young as 6 years old. I offer therapeutic support for kiddos dealing with depression, anxiety, anger, self-esteem concerns, and difficulties with navigating peer relationships. With adults, my focus areas include supporting individuals with friendship/relationship issues, and support for individuals dealing with infidelity. As a Christian woman of faith, I believe that Jesus and therapy can be a powerful combination for healing and growth. My service may be a good fit for you, if you are needing a safe space to vent, if you are wanting unbiased and non-judgmental feedback. Session Vibes:

Sessions with me include a brief-check in to see how things are going, and then we’ll dive into whatever you’d like to explore. For kids, I provide a more structured approach to help model routines and focus on treatment goals, while still making time for fun and play to build rapport. Regardless of your age, I invite you to make yourself comfortable! Feel free to take your shoes off, grab a snack, and your comfort item if you need to. My goal is to create a calm, chill & relaxed space where you can show up as yourself. Sessions can be done over the phone or through telehealth.
